Are we real?

Or are we constructs of a society trying to rip us of our uniqueness and authenticity?

Do we love?

Or do we crave and worship the idea without truly engaging in the act?

*

Can we feel?

Or do we numb ourselves, only to react in socially acceptable ways that force us to desensitize in order to exist without drama or incident?

*

What is existence?

A way to walk about the world, contributing to the advancement of human kind? Or following the rules set by others, trying simply to survive and carve out meaningfulness in our personal relationships or our art?

Do we exist?

Or are we the subject of another’s subconscious, living out their fears and desires?

*

What is our significance?

Are we an ant or worker bee, carrying sustenance to its colony? Or are we omniscient, serving a grander purpose to be discovered later?

What is my purpose?

Is it solely to love? Or are my gifts given to me so as to fulfill a destiny? What about those who don’t fill their potential? Did they still fulfill their destiny?

*

In a world where answers only induce more questions, will we ever know the truth?

Does it matter? Would knowing the truth change my existence for the better or would it drive me to seek power and influence?

*

Is the power construct good if that power is only used to do good deeds?

What is good? Isn’t that subjective, depending on the individual? Is what’s good for the individual good for the group and vice versa? Who decides?

Is power real?

Or is it built in the figment of man’s imagination in order to bend the world to him? Isn’t that omniscience?

*

Should we seek divinity aka omniscience or should we seek meekness and humbleness?

Which is more Godly? Which is more loving? Are they the same thing?

Questions beget more questions…but the answers of my Faith and, ultimately my Truth, lie in the peace and tranquility of who I am…standing in the context of Self, not in comparison to others. Standing alone in the dark or in the light, recognizing the stark uniqueness of my being…THAT is where the answers of my soul lie. Get quiet, be still, look inward, shut out the world, and breathe. God is right there…smack in the center of solitude. Trust in that.
